Óscar Landeta, founder of the company Certest Biotec, received the past October 2nd in Valencia, the prize Jaime I in the category “Entrepreneur”, from the King Felipe VI of Spain.

The jury of twenty Nobel Prizes, considered the entrepreneurial work and commitment to research and innovation that the company located in Zaragoza have made for the last years, in addition to the management and marketing of its products that are sold in more than 120 countries all over the world. However, the 100,000 euros of the prize will go to the new line of molecular biology products, which is currently being implemented. This line will become the main business of the company in a short period of time.
Is his speech, Landeta described how despite the hardness of the beginnings, back in 2002, innovation, research and hard work were fundamental topics to extend the activity of the company. Looking abroad, thinking about how to increase sales and go ahead with the science have been some of the keys for the successful of Certest.
