From the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, Carlos Genzor, Technical Director of Certest Biotec, S.L. received the recognition of the company in the categories “Creation of employment” and “International Development”, awards that recognize the upward trajectory of the Aragonese company in recent years, as well as its international projection in the field of clinical diagnosis.
The Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises -CEPYME- and the Spanish Autonomous Federation -CEAT-, convened the V Edition of the CEPYME 2018 Awards, with the aim of promoting the social recognition of the figure of the entrepreneur and disclosing the performance of its work at the service of society, within the framework of a productive fabric composed mainly of SMEs and self-employed workers, who represent more than 99% of companies, almost two thirds of GDP, and who hold more than 75% of employment.

Founded in 2002 by Carlos Genzor and Óscar Landeta, Certest Biotec has doubled its workforce in the last three years, reaching up to 130 workers, applying policies of equality and work-life balance, with the focus always on the creation of stable, qualified and quality jobs, which is one of the pillars for the growth of the company in the coming years. In the commercial field, the strategy of the company has always been to growth through internationalization and opening of new markets.
