On October 14th, Guadalupe del Buey, Head of Human Resources at Certest Biotec, participated in the virtual conference “People at the center of the strategy“, organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Huesca, Fundesa, Ceos-Cepyme Huesca and the Association for Regional Rural Development of La Hoya de Huesca-Adesho.
Fernando Moraga, CEO at Grupo Hierros Alfonso, also took part. Both speakers explained to the virtual audience how they are integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the company’s strategy, especially in terms of employees management, health, well-being, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, among others.
Guadalupe del Buey highlighted the importance of human resource management to position the company as “an attractive place to work.” However, actions have been carried out for a long time in the area of Social Responsibility and SDGs, aligned with the strategic plan and with the participation of the entire workforce, pointing out that “it is better to focus on a few things and doing them well, than to try to cover a lot”.
