A total of 32 children enjoy this summer the camp that Aspanoa organizes at his Casa in Almudévar. It is an activity much loved by the kids and their families, which last year had to be canceled due to the pandemic, and which this time is recovering with reduced capacity in compliance with health measures.
Aspanoa is the association that cares for children with cancer in Aragon, supports their families and promotes research against childhood cancer in the Community. Last year it helped 171 children with cancer in the different phases of the disease and 352 relatives of the affected, especially his parents and brothers. In addition, Aspanoa has launched the first investigations against childhood cancer in the history of Aragon, with a committed investment of 365,000 euros distributed in five projects, all of them directed by Aragonese scientists.
For the development of this camp, the collaboration of the Provincial Council of Huesca and the companies Martín Martín -which recently donated 2,000 children’s masks to Aspanoa in order to safely carry out this and other activities that are planned during the summer- and Certest Biotec have been essential, with the donation of 100 antigen tests that are carried out both to the children and to the monitors before and during the activity according to the covid protocol established for the camp.
