VIASURE Candida auris Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO is a qPCR test designed for the qualitative detection of Candida auris DNA in clinical samples. After DNA isolation, the detection of Candida auris DNA is performed by the amplification of a conserved region of the ITS2 gene for Candida auris, using specific primers and fluorescent-labelled probes.

VIASURE Candida auris Real Time PCR Detection Reagents RUO contains in each well all the components necessary for real time PCR assay (specific primers/probes, dNTPs, buffer and polymerase) in a stabilized format, as well as an internal control to verify the correct functioning of the amplification mix.

The internal control (IC) verifies if the amplification reaction works properly. If the PCR reaction is inhibited due to the presence of an artifact/inhibitor or because the well is incorrectly rehydrated, this control may become negative.
