VIASURE Viral Dengue 2 Positive Control Kit improves the diagnosis of Dengue virus type 2 infection by identifying false negative or false positive results that may occur because of a failure during the nucleic acid extraction process or the RT-qPCR reaction.

Many factors can lead to invalid results, such as low RNA yields after nucleic acid extraction, low reverse transcription efficiency or cross-contamination.

Description

VIASURE Viral Dengue 2 Positive Control Kit is intended for monitoring the whole reverse transcription quantitative real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) process, from nucleic acid extraction to reverse transcription and amplification steps.

VIASURE Viral Dengue 2 Positive Control Kit contains non-replicative and non-infectious Dengue virus type 2 viral particles that are expected to be processed along with clinical samples from individuals with clinical suspicion of Dengue virus type 2 infection.

This Kit is intended for use by qualified and trained clinical laboratory personnel specifically instructed and trained in molecular techniques and in vitro diagnostic procedures.
